Success In Multi-Level Marketing – It’s Not About Bothering Your Friends And Relatives

Has this ever happened to you?  You’re at a social event, it doesn’t matter what kind, and this person introduces himself to you with, “Hi, I’m Joe, and I’d like to introduce you to a business opportunity that I’m really excited about.It’s got a wonderful product and virtually guaranteed to make you wealthy.”  Did you get excited?  No!  Did you want to hear about his opportunity?  No!  In fact, he probably turned you off big time, right?

Heck, you’ve got your own opportunity you’re trying to promote.  Joe turned you off, but what does your upline tell you about having success in multi-level marketing?  They tell you to do exactly what Joe did!  If Joe wasn’t successful with you, what makes you think you’ll be successful doing the same thing to others?  In fact, you’re probably wondering just what you have to do to find some kind of success, any kind of success.

Talking to all your friends and relatives doesn’t work, passing out DVDs doesn’t work, buying leads doesn’t work, making endless cold calls doesn’t work, leaving flyers at the grocery store doesn’t work, and talking to strangers face-to-face certainly doesn’t work.  As I said, that is not the way to success in multi-level marketing.  Yet something resonated with you to get you to join your current MLM business.  What was it?

You are going to show your prospects that you care about their success by adding value to their lives, and you can provide that value by understanding the issues they are facing and then helping them to solve those issues.  Their issues are probably the same as yours, if you think about it  That’s how to get leads for mlm.
